Jennifer Garner got into Halloween with little Violet trick or treating in New York. The two were dressed up as "Fred" and "Ted" matching dogs from the book series "Big Dog. . . Little Dog" and spent the night collecting candies in a pumpkin purse.

Jennifer Garner is in New York for her husband's appearance on SNL.

Garner has been praised by close pal Victor Garber for being a great mom.

‘She’s with child and she’s never been more beautiful,’ he said at the Fourth Annual GLSEN Respect Awards in Los Angeles.

‘She’s wonderful. She’s probably the best mother I’ve ever witnessed.’
