Singer and actress Hilary Duff talks about her program “Blessings in a Backpack” on E's Daily 10 Duff explains how “Blessings in a Backpack” works: “Blessings in a backpack started about three years ago. Basically we work with grocery stores to give us a great rate on food and 100% of the money that we get goes to getting food for kids. Kids get a full backpack of food on Fridays they take it home and bring their empty backpacks home on Mondays. No kid should worry about when the next time he is going to eat is.” |
