I know she'd like to think so. Hell, her every move and public statement is geared toward achieving that very goal. But the little man is craftier than that. Look how long he had Cameron hanging on. Jessica's got a ways to go.

Justin and Cameron were together four years before things went sour. Sources at the time blamed Justin's mommy, who he always listens to, and who never took a liking to she who looks like a sea creature from the neck up. But she was athletic, and a lot of fun, so it was easy to stretch it out. And Cammie's never been in a hurry to wed. It's just not her thing.

Jessica, on the other hand, wants that ring. She wants that celebrity baby and all the trappings. She knows she'll never attain the heights of fame that Timberlake has, and is content to ride his coattails. Her publicist thinks he/she is very crafty, releasing these thinly-veiled statements about how wonderful she is (she can sing! she can act! she's not just a shelf ass!), and Justin's more than willing to let it all pan out. It's a small price to pay.

But will he take that final step? I don't think it's too likely. Despite his public shows of commitment to his shelfy one, Justin's got a reputation as a backstage player who loves to brag of his conquests. Jessica shouldn't get too comfortable; if Justin follows form she's only got another year or two, tops, before he replaces her with another tight-assed social climber.
