Close siblings Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal are dealing with a family crisis. In Touch reveals that their mom, screenwriter Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal, and dad, director Stephen Gyllenhaal, have separated. “Nobody saw this coming,” says one insider, and another tells In Touch, “The family is completely distraught, but they are all uniting during this sad time.” The situation has apparently made Jake appreciate girlfriend Reese Witherspoon that much more. “He and Reese have been talking about marriage a lot lately,” the insider says. “Stephen has moved out,” says an insider about the breakup of the tight-knit clan.
