Singer John Mayer at the Avalon nightclub in West Hollywood in an all black outfit for the BlackBerry Storm launch party. In a piece for the Huffington Post, Mayer talked about his support for Barack Obama. “I believe the definition of the ‘hope’ that Barack Obama enthuses operates on the unspoken thesis that there has to be a polar opposite to the despair of 9/11,” Mayer tells. “Because if we accept that there’s not, the will to live becomes forever altered.
