Ashley Olsen vows to steer her children away from "ugly" entertainment industry

ASHLEY OLSEN is convinced her own children would have a less pleasant experience growing up in the limelight than her own.

When asked of her ambitions for her potential daughter, she says, "I would definitely want her to have a job and understand what it's like to work and how important it is to be something greater than yourself. But being in this industry or the industry I was brought up in, probably not. It's pretty ugly."

"We worked after school and when we weren't on set we were in school. We never came across any problems. It was before the whole paparazzi phase, so it wasn't that bad."
