Rapper and actor 50 Cent talks to Michael Yo about his new album, Kanye West and acting

Yo asks 50 Cent to explain the title of his upcoming album, “Before I Self Destruct”: “Well I think in the history of entertainment, they build entertainers in order to destroy them for the sake of entertainment. So the concept of me spinning out of control on some levels is just entertaining.”

When asked why his CD won’t drop the same day as Kanye West’s, 50 Cent says: “He pushed his album release up til November. I believe that the project conceptually that he's decided to do as an artist is a lot harder to sell.”

When asked why West chose to sing on his upcoming album instead of rapping, 50 Cent says: “I have no idea, you know as much as I know. It must have been something he felt he needed to do right now.”

When asked which movie star he’d like to make love to in the movies, 50 Cent says: “Meghan Fox. She’s hot.”

When asked if there are any other movie stars he’d like to work with, 50 Cent says: “Leonardo DiCapri. Want to work with him, not sleep with him. Don't try not mess this up, you know what I mean.”
