Sir Paul McCartney is set to buy a new US apartment to be nearer to his
girlfriend.

The Beatles legend, who has been dating millionairess Nancy Shevell since
last year, has been looking at properties in New York's prestigious Upper
East Side - where Nancy currently lives.
The 66-year-old musician already has a property on West 54th Street, which
he has owned since the 80s. Paul often stayed in the apartment with his
ex-wife Heather Mills.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He has been looking at
eight-figure apartments. I think he just wants to rid himself of the Heather
factor."
