LILY ALLEN has been slammed as “appallingly irresponsible” after revealing details of a kidnap both cops and the victim wanted to keep secret.

The singer had told an awards ceremony audience of the abduction of a pal called Charlie.

The kidnappers are alleged to have demanded £75,000 from their families.

Six men have been arrested and four charged with kidnap, SUN reports.

Officers had put a ban on publicity about the case.

The kidnapped pal was said to be “livid”.

Ex Scotland Yard Commander John O’Connor said: “It was outrageous.”
