Keira Knightley wows at the world premiere of ‘The Duchess’

The stunning 23-year-old actress – who wore a backless blue dress and Chanel
jewellery - signed autographs for screaming fans as she walked down the red
carpet in London’s Leicester Square.
Keira revealed her costumes for the film – in which she plays Georgiana,
Duchess of Devonshire – were far less comfortable than her outfit choice for
the glitzy event.
She says: “It was fantastic wearing the costumes in the film.
Georgiana was a huge fashion icon in the 18th Century so it was so important
we got the costumes right.
“I think they were like an armour for her, she was an incredibly vulnerable
character. They were obviously integral to the film.
“Not very comfortable, but very beautiful.”
