Katherine Heigl Is Kicking The Habit

Katherine Heigl is making a serious effort to quit smoking after seven years, following in the footsteps of her close friend and Grey’s Anatomy co-star T.R. Knight, who stopped lighting up some time ago, IN TOUCH WEEKLY reports. “Of course I support her,” T.R. told In Touch at a Point Foundation gala on September 13, though he adds that he didn’t nag her about it. “You have to be ready and find it in yourself.” And Katherine, 29, definitely is. “It’s so stupid,” she has said. “I have to quit the old fashioned way.” “I tried the patch [and] tried gum. I hate the gum. It burns my mouth,” Katherine once said about her previous efforts.
