Jude Law in Afghanistan to promote peace

Jude Law is in Afghanistan with filmmaker Jeremy Gilley in an attempt to promote peace in the troubled nation, SPY reports.

Jude Law in Afghanistan to promote peace

The pair's visit comes three weeks before Peace Day on 21 September, an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence inspired by Gilley's Peace One Day project.

Law and Gilley previously traveled to the war-torn country in 2007, helping UNICEF and the World Health Organization to promote a mass vaccination against polio of 1.4 million Afghan children.
