A source says, "It's not that Jen has given up ever having a child of her own or the family she craves, she is just looking at all the options open to her. "There are so many children in the world desperate for a good home and Jen feels like it might be time to adopt a little boy or girl. She's almost 40 now and is as passionate as ever about being a mother."
