Not familiar with the mirt? It's a men's skirt - get it? Like mandals. To coin a popular phrase, some s**t just ain't right.

We've seen them come and go, usually worn by men both brash and shameless. Marc Jacobs wore a big, heavy-looking velvet number to Fashion Week - I guess he and his new boytoy switched roles for a night. But he looked stupid - makes you wonder if he's using again.

I'm not sure whose show this little number appeared at, but it's the worst take yet on a fad that will hopefully never catch on. (I strongly believe that the only reason men want to wear mirts is for the ventilation.) A ruffled mini over shiny trousers? I feel sorry for the model. He'll never live this down.

Repeat after me: Skirts are for girls, jocks are for guys. If there's a big wind he'll get a surprise. Which will more than likely hurt my eyes.
