Why on earth would she think that? At best she was a B-list TV host and correspondent - on her best day. And why isn't she still doing at least that? Simple. She was more trouble than she was worth, something that Nick Lachey probably knows for sure by now. But she's convenient, so she stays. For now. But don't cry for Vanessa. She's got loftier ambitions. And they sound familiar!

Didn't we hear the very same things from her "co-star" in the sexy knife pictures? She got more publicity for knife teasing with Blohan - and "cavorting" (snort!) in a hot tub with Nick - than for any professional venture she's undertaken. She's known more for her club crawling and hissy fits than for any talent she may have. Yes, Lindsay also said she wanted to win an Oscar ... but Lindsay can at least act. The only thing Vanessa has going for her is a curvy body ... and from what I hear, a mean right cross.

But hey, a girl can dream, right? And Vanessa says her goal is "to be acting and winning an Oscar," according to that veritable tower of truth In Touch. Oh, wait. There's more. She wants to be "an actress with an Oscar and babies." Babies?!? She looks more the type to eat babies for breakfast. This girl has done nothing significant with her career in years. Unless of course you count her role in Disaster Movie, which was said to be simply disastrous. Not a good start. She better go back to working on getting Nick to the altar. Then again, after three years, maybe she finally realizes that's not going to happen.
