Pierce Brosnan admits growing up without a father inspired him to ensure his own sons "know the love of a family".
The 'Mamma Mia!' star - who has two sons Dylan Thomas, 11, and Paris
Beckett, seven, with wife Keely Shaye Smith - admits his own upbringing has
affected how he raises his children.
Pierce, 55, said: "I want my boys to feel like they belong and know the love
of family. I'm very aware of how precious the time with my children is."
The actor - who also has a 24-year-old son Sean and two adopted children
with late wife Cassandra Harris - also revealed he and Keely are doing their
best to raise their children in a 'green' environment.
He added to Reader's Digest magazine: "The boys know how to compost all the
food, and it goes into the garden."
Pierce is currently filming new drama 'The Greatest' alongside Susan
Sarandon, and can soon be seen reprising his role as Thomas Crown in 'The
Thomas Crown Affair 2'.
He is expected to co-star with Angelina Jolie in the movie, who has
reportedly been told by producers she needs to put on weight before shooting
starts.
