Kitson, one of Hollywood’s hottest boutiques, has dropped Lauren Conrad’s clothing collection, LIFE & STYLE WEEKLY reports. Did Lauren’s lack of involvement and alleged lackluster designs lead to sagging sales?

Nonsense, says the 22-year old star of The Hills. “I’m proud of the collection,” she tells Life & Style, adding that 500 stores, including Bloomingdale’s and Fred Segal, carry her line. “The response has been amazing.”

So much so, she says, that she has new designs coming down the pike. “Holiday is up next, and my theme is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” Lauren reveals. “I’m really excited about it. After that is my resort collection with a safari-chic theme.”

As for claims that she doesn’t design her clothes, “It’s a ridiculous rumor,” she scoffs. “I do all my own designs.”
