Joining Vivica on the judges’ panel will be ‘stylist to the stars’ Phillip Bloch and Us Weekly’s, Melanie Bromley. Phillip is Hollywood’s go-to stylist who’s clients have included Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, John Travolta, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. His work has also graced the covers of In Style, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Entertainment Weekly. Sitting next to him will be Us Weekly’s West Coast Bureau Chief, Melanie Bromley. London-born Melanie started the magazine’s European bureau before relocating to California where she heads up the L.A. office and oversees all things relating to celebrities, beauty and fashion.

Each week the “stylista” contestants will be asked to compete in various challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe. The stylists must be well versed in all areas of fashion and beauty as they bring their vision to life through hair, make-up and wardrobe. Those that fall short of creating that perfect look will have their style license revoked and will be sent packing. The one stylist that manages to rise above the rest will be given the ultimate reward -- the chance to launch a career by styling a celebrity and being awarded $100,000.

Throughout each episode viewers will also learn the secret tips of looking fabulous on the red carpet.

VH1.com will sneak peek episode one beginning Friday, August 15 – one week before the on-air premiere and will be home to exclusive video content throughout the season. Each episode will be available on VH1.com every Friday following its Thursday night on-air premiere. VH1 Mobile will also offer select “Glam God With Vivica A. Fox” video throughout the season.

VH1 is looking to discover the next Phillip Bloch or Fati Parsia who has styled Vivica for many events. Glam Gods like these two stylists are able to broker deals between the designers and their clients – ultimately convincing designers to make items especially for their celebrity clientele. “Glam God With Vivica A. Fox” is about discovering the next great stylist who can create their own brand and their own distinct ‘look,’ making them the ‘it’ stylist on every celebrity’s speed dial.
