The 'Devil Wears Prada' star needed to tone up for her role in new movie
'Bride Wars' and her personal trainer David Kirsch recommended the unusual
exercise to help her achieve a svelte look.
Explaining the benefits of the 'platypus walk', David told America's Glamour
magazine: "It lifts the butt up a good inch higher, working the inner
thighs.
"She really wanted to sweat. It de-stressed her."
The platypus walk is a squat-like walk done while holding a medicine ball
above the head.
