Richie Sambora will be there for Heather Locklear , who is seeking treatment for depression and anxiety , PEOPLE reports.

"Without a doubt, he's there for his daughter and her mother," a friend of the Bon Jovi guitarist tells PEOPLE. "They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much."

Sambora, split from Locklear in 2006 after 12 years of marriage and subsequently dated Locklear's former friend Denise Richards.
