Rhona Mitra replaces Kate Beckinsale in 'Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans'

The 31-year-old ‘Doomsday’ actress has landed the lead female role of Sonja
in 'Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans'.
Rhona revealed at least one member of her family was thrilled that she is
set to star in the movie.
The British star said: “I have a four-year-old nephew who is probably going
to think I’m the greatest thing ever now. I’m getting to wear armor and
have fangs.”
Kate Beckinsale played blood-sucking warrior Selene in the first two movies,
but quit the franchise to take on more challenging parts.
