Matthew Perry to make a return to TV?

The former ‘Friends’ star will play a talk show host in dark comedy ‘The End
of Steve’, which he is also writing and co-producing.
Zack Van Amburg, co-president at Sony Pictures Television, which is
producing the pilot for US channel Showtime, said: "This role will show fans
that he can be not only funny but also reach to some dark places. It will be
a departure from the way the US thinks of Matthew. This is the beginning of
a really exciting journey."
Matthew – will co-produce the show with Peter Tolan, the co-creator of
hit US series ‘Rescue Me.’
