Alex Rodriguez has been spotted visiting Madonna at her Central Park West apartment in New York City, where she is currently holed up.

The 32-year-old baseballer has reportedly paid several visits to his friend, sneaking out of the complex 'as late as midnight', Metro reports.

'All the doormen are talking', a source revealed about Rodriguez's repeated presence.

It's not the first time the pair have enjoyed time together, with Rodriguez among the audience at the singer's New York concert in April.

The 49-year-old mum of three sat in Rodriguez's seats at a Yankees game in June, with her young son Rocco, 7, being a huge fan of the team.

Rodriguez is married with two young daughters.
