In an interview with Easy Living magazine, the singer talks about entertaining audiences aged 50 or 60, she said: "But I won't be wearing hotpants any more!

"A while ago I sang I Should Be So Lucky as a romantic torch song on Later... With Jools Holland.

"Jools accompanied me on the piano, and I can imagine working like that.

"It's difficult to age with dignity in the pop business, but I'd like to think I've managed it so far."

She told how she sometimes dreamt of a long-lasting relationship and a family.

"And then there are days when I think, actually, that's not the right path for me.

"I never really felt I was made for an ordinary life, like a husband and a terraced house in the suburbs."

She denied being back with Olivier Martinez, describing him as "a good friend".
