Heather Locklear's boyfriend Jack Wagner "really lifted her spirits," with his visit, PEOPLE reports.

Locklear is receiving treatment for anxiety and depression at an Arizona facility.

Wagner spent several hours with her last weekend..

"He looked like he was taking care of her," says an observer. "It was very sweet."

Dressed down in sweats and a T-shirt, Locklear, 46, "looked exhausted," says the observer. "Even with no makeup she was beautiful, but she seemed tired, pale and very skinny."
