Charlize Theron claims that many people don't realize how awkward filming romantic movie scenes can be, Digital Spy reports.

"It's not a sexy free for all," she told Parade. "It's not show up and get busy and hopefully the camera will catch it.

"And there really is no room for anything except occasional awkwardness and giggles"

She continued: "I think people forget how technical those scenes are, more technical than anything else that you'll ever do in acting."
