Barack Obama has denied that he is in regular contact with Scarlett Johansson, STAR reports.

Scarlett Johansson claimed that she was having a "personal dialogue" with Obama.

He said: "She sent one email to Reggie [Love, assistant], who forwarded it to me.

"I [wrote] saying, 'Thank you Scarlett for doing what you do', and suddenly we have this email relationship."
