Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins leave hospital in Nice, France
The 'Wanted' actress - who gave birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline
on July 12 - left the Fondation Lenval hospital by car at around 4am on
Saturday.
Hospital representative Nadine Bauer confirmed: "Angelina Jolie left the
Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19. The
mother and babies are doing very well. We enjoyed having her and her family
here very much."
Angelina and the new babies are reported to have been driven in a grey
Volkswagen minibus to the luxurious Chateau Miraval in Correns, France,
which she and partner Brad Pitt rented in May.
An onlooker added to People magazine: "There was a sudden spray of light out
of the hospital's garage way and then four or five people came out of that
through a rear doorway.
"The courtyard entrance was suddenly opened by someone who was waiting in
the bus stop beside the hospital. This group of people got into the van,
very quickly. It was all done in a hurry - very rapid. And then 'Pouf!' they
were gone."
Brad and Angelina are expected to stay in Chateau Miraval with their adopted
children, six-year-old Maddox, four-year-old Pax, three-year-old Zahara, and
two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh for the rest of the summer.
