OK, a metal piece flew off this lady's thong and scratched her cornea, making her ... what? Unable to watch American Idol that week? She missed a few days of work, but her lawyer says she'll be affected for life. This is what happens when you deal with unruly underwear.
What I want to know is this: Was she putting it on her head? Was she using it as a slingshot or catapult? She said a piece of metal "decoration" flew off the offending garment ... are we talking spikes? Studs? Scud missiles? I didn't know Victoria's Secret sold that kind of stuff.
The lawsuit says she had to miss "several days of work" to get the injury treated. OK. How much could that possibly be? A few hundred dollars, tops, depending on her occupation. Interestingly enough, the victim refused to let the company examine the garment in question, probably because they hadn't finished sewing razor wire into the waistband. Of course this could all be because she let this guy wear them.
