Tatum O'Neal was arrested for buying crack cocaine and powder cocaine a few blocks from her apartment in New York.

Tatum tried to pass off the incident, saying she was doing the deals as "research" for a part in a film.
She reportedly said: "You know who I am, right? I'm researching a part - I'm doing this for a part as a junkie."
Officers arrested Tatum - whose parents are actor Ryan O'Neal and Joanna Cook Moore - and suspected drug dealer Alan Garcia and charged her with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Upon her arrest, Tatum is believed to have pleaded with police, saying: "Can't we just forget about this?"
Tatum most recently appeared in US TV series 'Rescue Me'.
