Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan has slammed Cheryl Cole over her appointment as a judge on X Factor.

When asked if she thought Cheryl Cole deserved her new job, Keisha said: "Actually, I would have preferred Boy George, MIRROR reports

"He has got so much more experience, and so many more years behind him.

"I think he would have been much better as the judge."

Bandmates Amelle Berrabah added: "Yeah, Boy George has generations more on her.

"Not that Cheryl hasn't got any experience, but someone who has been going for as long as he has should have been given a chance."

Then, Heidi Range , concluded : "Well, Cheryl did come from reality TV herself... so I guess that does make sense.

"But she could do with some more experience."
