Insiders say she thinks Catherine would sound ‘more queenly’ if she were to join the Royal family as William’s fiancée.

‘Everyone knows it’s about to happen with Kate and William, but we were a little surprised about the request to call her Catherine,’ a pal tells the Daily Mail.

‘There’s a distinct feeling that she's started to become aware of her position. Her close family and friends have always called her Catherine and that’s the way she prefers it.’
