John Lydon wants to write a song for Britney Spear

The outrageous rocker - better known as Johnny Rotten - believes he and the
troubled pop princess could pen a great track together, despite their vastly
different musical styles.
Lydon, who was one of the figureheads of the British punk scene in the 70s,
told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "She has been hurt. And hurt is the root
core essence of good music. I haven't written a song for Britney yet but I
would love to. I'd like to help out because there's a girl who needs some
help."
