CALUM BEST hopes to go 50 days without sex
The playboy sees the new MTV One series as his chance to restore his reputation with the British public.
"When I first came over to the UK about six years ago everybody said such nice things – that I was a good, cool guy with potential.
"But when my old man fell off the rails, I started f***ing up.
"In the past couple of years I haven’t been doing myself any favors.
"I’ve been wasting opportunities, letting things slide and not focusing on my career.
"Instead I’ve been doing what a lot of 27-year-old single guys would do.
"But I’m at the point now where I can’t keep doing that, I’ve got to focus on other things. It took me until this year to realize I didn’t have to be doing all this dodgy stuff.
"My dad’s death affected me in a big way, but now I want to use this opportunity to bring it back to how I should be.
"Because I’m a young man with a lot of aspirations, commitment and potential.
"The tongue in cheek 'no sex' thing will string the series together, but I’m going to LA to pursue a career to make my life."
The series, called Totally Calum Best, starts on Sunday July 27th at 10pm.
