ROSIE & FRAN’S NEW TV SHOW

“We’re in development for a new sitcom called The New Thirty,” Fran told In Touch at a Friar’s Club lunch honoring her work with her Cancer Schmancer nonprofit organization. “It’s basically about middle-aged women on the verge of a midlife crisis. We play old high school friends — who live in the same building in Manhattan — who are living very different lives.” But don’t expect them to be the new Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz. “It’s kind of Sex and the City but we ain’t getting any! It’ll probably be more like The Odd Couple; I’ll be Oscar and she’ll be Felix,” jokes Fran. One thing’s for sure: It won’t be hard for Fran and Rosie to play pals. “I love Rosie and I’ve known her for many, many years,” says Fran. “I’d trust her with my life and with my business!”
