Peaches Geldof visited an East London apartment with troubled Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty and did not leave until hours later, NOW reports.

A source told The Sun: "Peaches and Pete and a few others were all round at this flat on Thursday. The pair were laughing and joking together for hours and getting on really well. They even went into a bedroom together for a while to be on their own.

"I'm not sure what they were doing in there, but whatever it was I'm sure her dad wouldn't approve."

Geldof is facing accusations that she is a regular drug user.

A friend added: "Peaches has always been a fan of Pete's. She was besotted with him when she was younger. And now they've got to know each other better. Pete thinks she's really sweet. He's always liked the young ones."
