Patrick Swayze’s cult film ‘Point Break’ is to get a sequel.

Patrick Swayze’s ‘Point Break’ sequel?

The surfing-themed crime thriller, which also starred Keanu Reeves, was a massive hit when released in 1991.
Rumors of a follow-up have been rife at the Cannes Film Festival, which is being held in France this week.
Swayze – who is currently fighting pancreatic cancer - is rumored to be eager to reprise his role of bank robbing surfer Bodhi, while Reeves is being tipped to play FBI agent John Utah again.
‘Dirty Dancing’ star Swayze, 55, has been undergoing grueling chemotherapy treatment to fight the potentially life-threatening disease but has vowed to keep working as long as he is well enough.
Pete Iliff - the writer of the original movie - has already penned the script for the new film, and Indonesia and Singapore have been touted as possible shooting locations.
