Miley Cyrus's new tune, "7 Things" – debuted Tuesday on the syndicated radio show Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo.

The song describes the pain of a recent breakup, PEOPLE reports. In the chorus, she screams all the things she "hates" about her ex: "You're vain, your games, you're insecure/You love me, you like her/You make me laugh you make me cry."

The song is the first single off her upcoming album, due out July 22.
