Mark Ronson almost got into a fight over his new girlfriend Daisy Lowe after they stepped out together for the first time, Digital Spy reports.

The 32-year-old music producer's relationship with Lowe, 19, was exposed by the press last month.

An onlooker told The Mirror: "They were trying to hail a taxi outside the club when some bloke started hitting on Daisy.

"When Mark tried to rescue her, the guy became abusive and started spitting and swearing at them. Luckily they sped off before being struck by saliva."
