When Carey dropped her sunglasses on the red carpet, she quickly turned her back to the wall of photographers until she'd slipped them back on. Then she was escorted inside through a back door, but it still took her 30 minutes to make her way to her table, where Zoe Kravitz and Ben Kingsley were waiting to congratulate her. Carey's new beau, Nick Cannon, showed up soon after. "He bailed on his own premiere to be here," said a spy. "He didn't do any press for his film, 'Ball Don't Lie,' and came to see Mariah."
