Justin Timberlake is producing a reality series for MTV billed as a "real life Bourne Identity” called The Phone, US reports.

Each episode beings with two hidden cell phones ringing on opposite ends of a major city. Once picked up, a "mysterious guide gives contestants five seconds to concede whether or not they wish to play the game for a chance of winning a huge cash prize," MTV said in a statement.

The show, which is based off a Dutch series of the same name, is slated to premiere this fall.
