The 35-year-old actress – who has two children with her Coldplay frontman
husband Chris Martin – admits she enjoyed the on-screen chemistry she had
with Robert.
Gwyneth, who plays Robert’s character Tony Stark’s devoted assistant
Virginia ‘Pepper’ Potts in the superhero movie, said: “Robert kept me on my
toes and kept our on-screen relationship sexually charged. Sometimes I have
had to work with people I have had zero chemistry with, and it’s like
pulling teeth.
“Because sometimes it’s just not there and when it is there, it’s like
flying. It feels like you can do anything, and when it’s not there it’s a
struggle. I’ve had that quite a few times.”
