Authorities have arrested and charged country songwriter Richard Fagan, 61, with criminal homicide in the death of Gaetano Thomas Oteri, 69, AP reports.

Fagan was arrested Saturday night for a DUI. The songwriter told police that a fight had occurred around 9 p.m. between the two men, and that Fagan used a Colt pocket knife to cut Oteri across his body before leaving the scene.
