Madonna’s sex drive inspired her new album.
The superstar singer, who releases her latest LP ‘Hard Candy’ this month,
loved teaming up with producer Pharrell Williams to write steamy track
‘Candy Shop’.

She said: “‘Candy Shop’ was the first song I wrote with Pharrell. It is one
of my favourites on the record. It personifies the mood I was in while
making the record – lots of innuendo. You can get so many things in a candy
shop!”
Meanwhile, Madonna - who is married to British film director Guy Ritchie -
has also revealed she found it a challenge working with Justin Timberlake
and super producer Timbaland on her new single ‘4 Minutes’.
The 49-year-old star said: "I've never been double teamed before in the
studio, that's just to start off with that. I usually only collaborate with
one person at a time and there usually is only one sort of person that I
have to volley with.
"So to be suddenly in the studio with two very big personalities who have
very strong opinions it was a challenge, it was different, it was new."
Madonna’s ‘4 Minutes’ topped the UK singles charts yesterday (20.04.08) -
securing her 13th UK number one song.
