Followed by months of testimony investigating possible foul play, the seven-person jury recommended that no criminal charges be filed on March 31. “Certain people wanted it to be a homicide but they have different agendas,” Larry says. “There’s no celebration in this because it doesn’t bring him back, but fortunately, some people will have closure.” Daniel died on September 10, 2006, in the Bahamas, three days after Anna Nicole gave birth to his sister, Dannielynn. “People really wanted to know what happened to him,” Larry tells In Touch.
