21, the Kate Bosworth casino thriller, retained the No. 1 spot for a second week, raking in $15.1 million, US reports.

George Clooney's Leatherheads, co-starring Renée Zellweger and John Krasinski, debuted at No. 2 with $13.5 million.

"I'm disappointed for us, I'm disappointed for George. I think he's a great guy and think he's got tons of directing talent," Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal, told the Associated Press. "I wish I could have that crystal ball and tell you what went wrong."
