John Mayer denies kissing Perez Hilton on New Year's Eve.

Perez Hilton claimed he received a five-minute kiss from Mayer at a party in New York and said he would be willing to take a lie detector test to prove it.

He told In Touch: "There was chemistry between John and I. He sang in my ear. It turned me on. John said, 'I'm going to outdo Perez tonight', and kissed me for five minutes."

He added: "I would definitely take a lie detector test and challenge him to take one, too, if he denies it."

A representative for Mayer commented: "This is completely ridiculous."
