The 76 year-old Hollywood legend couldn’t breathe when she awoke her assistant at 4 AM on April 6.

“Liz was panicking. She really thought she was going to die!” a close friend told The ENQUIRER.

She was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and went home that afternoon.
