Diners at LA’s Chateau Marmont got an A-List treat on April 4. Cameron Diaz and new beau Gerard Butler stopped by for a late-night bite with another couple, Reese Witherspoon, 32, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 27, Life & Style reports. “They arrived at 12:30 a.m. and grabbed a table on the patio,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “Cam snuggled up to Gerard and rested her head on his shoulder. Jake and Reese were really cute together, too — joking a lot and just very comfortable with each other.”

The foursome enjoyed red wine and appetizers (Gerard, 38, did the ordering) as Cameron, 35, kept everyone in stitches. “She was the center of attention,” says the witness. “Reese threw in an occasional wisecrack, but Cam was really on a roll.”

The night got a little awkward only when Reese and Cameron left to powder their noses. “Gerard and Jake didn’t say much to each other,” says the witness. “They both seemed relieved when their dates returned!”

“Cameron and Gerard held hands under the table, but Reese and Jake were slightly less affectionate,” says a witness. Reese and Jake called it a night at 3 a.m., about 30 minutes after Cameron and Gerard left.
