Amy Winehouse's father wants her sectioned.

Cab driver Mitch Winehouse explained that he is ready to resort to the desperate measure because stints in rehab have failed to have any effect on his daughter's mental state, digital spy reports

"I don't think being somewhere for six weeks is going to cure her problems," Mitch told the News of the World. "I think it needs far more radical measures. We will take the bull by the horns and deal with it."

Mitch decided to speak out after Amy received a formal police caution for common assault.
